As the VERSF framework has grown across many papers, it has naturally used different language to describe the same ideas at different scales. Words like time, tick, bit, and energy can mean subtly different things depending on whether the discussion is about quantum processes, gravity, or cosmology. Without a clear map, this can make the framework seem inconsistent when it isn’t. This canon document exists to prevent that confusion. It does not introduce new physics or new claims. Instead, it acts as an interpretive guide: it defines key terms precisely, states which definitions apply in which regimes, and explains how the different mathematical descriptions relate as limits of one another. Its role is to ensure that the framework is read correctly, both by general readers and by reviewers, and that apparent contradictions are recognized as differences of scale or language rather than genuine conflicts.
